Our undergraduate Real Estate and Economic Development program is the only one of its kind in Maryland, designed to prepare graduates for careers in real property. Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared for a career in:

What you'll learn:
You will gain a comprehensive set of business skills and learn about all facets of real property, including marketing, community development, financial evaluation and law. Connecting theory to industry practice is a priority of the program, which includes study of:
• public economics and land-use policy • real estate law • real estate principles and transactions • real estate market analysis • real estate finance • real estate investments.
You can take advantage of interdisciplinary courses in government and public administration, community development and history to satisfy your electives. Classroom courses are offered to full-time and part-time students during the day and in the evening; many courses are also offered online. Freshmen are admitted full time during the day.
As a qualified student, you can take advantage of our Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s Option. Apply up to 9 graduate credits (three classes, typically) to both your undergraduate degree in real estate and economic development and your UB/Towson M.B.A., your M.S. in Accounting and Business Advisory Services or your M.S. in Business-Finance.
