Rajesh Mirani is Associate Professor of information systems. His research interests and projects generally revolve around aligning information systems with business goals. He is presently investigating inter-organizational mechanisms that enable IS/IT offshoring clients to effectively manage their geographically distant vendors. His research papers have been published in highly regarded journals such as Decision Sciences, Information & Management, Journal of MIS, and MIS Quarterly. Dr. Mirani has often represented the Merrick School and the University of Baltimore on technology-related committees and boards, at conferences and seminars, and other such events. He has also served as President of the Merrick School Faculty Senate.
