PHSC 101 Earth in Focus (3)
A study of the origins, composition and physical processes of our planet. The Earth's land masses, bodies of water and atmosphere are examined. Natural phenomena such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and global weather patterns are explained. Includes a discussion of environmental issues that directly impact people, such as industrial pollution, depletion of natural resources and global warming. [GSCI]
