Meredith Barr, manager, career and professional services Meredith manages the front-line operations, technology and marketing for the center as well as oversees the Professional Development Institute. As a StrengthsQuest advocate for UB’s campus, Meredith provides training and support to students and staff in the implementation of a strengths-based approach to work, school and life. Malka Weintraub, career coach and licensed counselor Malka coaches and counsels students and alumni to achieve their personal, educational and professional goals. She administers and interprets career assessments to assist students and alumni with career decisions and transitions. She has initiated, developed and now leads job search groups that have received national recognition. She leads workshops and teaches classes on career management and job search strategies. Malka has over 15 years' successful professional experience in government, non-profit, private industry and higher education. Jessica Johnson, job development and internship coordinator Jessica manages all aspects of the internship program—working with students, faculty and employers. She also serves as the primary contact for off-campus student employment opportunities. She is very excited to build upon her higher education career at UB and is an advocate of students’ completing an internship while studying at UB.
