We make every effort to accommodate our community members with disabilities. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions:
-
How can I park in disability parking spaces on campus?
The University does not issue disability parking hangtags to community
members with disabilities. Simply display either your MVA placard or
license plate in order to use a disabled parking space in any UB parking
area or in the designated disabled on-street parking spaces along Mount
Royal Avenue. UB Police rigorously enforce appropriate parking in
disabled parking spaces at UB.
-
I need to park a van on campus. Where can I park it?
We currently have van-accessible parking in the Maryland Avenue Garage
(lower level, along the Biddle Street side) and in the Fitzgerald
Garage.
-
Are the free UB shuttles that circulate campus wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the two UB shuttles that run among the parking facilities and
academic buildings are both wheelchair accessible. Check
NextBus for
shuttle arrival times.
For more information about parking, contact UB's parking office at 410.837.6573 or send an e-mail to parking@ubalt.edu.
